About

Sagar Raju was born and raised in New Jersey. As an EMT, he spent time working on designing and implementing a emergency medical system in rural India before attending Yale University where he studied Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry and served as a Yale Global Health Fellow. He attended Harvard Medical School before completing a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). He currently works as an adult and pediatric hospitalist at MGH and as an inpatient and outpatient provider at the Maniilaq Health Center in Kotzebue, Alaska. His interests lie in health system design and strengthening, specifically improving pediatric primary care and mental health services in rural Alaska. He enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors hiking, camping, rafting, biking, running, and playing tennis.
